Then our classes are perfect for you!

Mantis adults' classes are suitable for everybody aged 14 upwards*. There's no need to be fit (in fact if you were, you'd have less need to be there!). Our beginners' programme covers all the basic skills to allow you to complete your very first kickboxing grading and earn a real kickboxing belt (included). 

 

Our classes are a great way to lose excess fat, tone up and have fun at the same time. We teach freestyle kickboxing in class, which is a combination of kicks, punches, elbows and knees so you get a full body workout in each session. We begin each class by learning a new technique which is then combined with others to form a sequence to practice with a partner using gloves on pads (provided). The sessions are great fun and there is an extra focus on fitness at the end where you are encouraged to challenge your own scores to help you improve, no matter what your starting level

 

If you'd like to continue your challenge you can progress through gradings to achieve further belts on your Black Belt quest in a variety of different classes. 

 

We're a very social group too and we regularly tackle other challenges as a team such as mudder runs, panic rooms and inflatable obstacle courses!
